Nelis has been involved in the banking and finance industry for more than two decades, first in South Africa with EFC (Executive Funding Consultants) which he has founded together with his wife Stefnie during 1987 as a Finance, Investment and Management Company and today it is the financial domain for the LeonardScott Short Sale program, operating out of Carmel CA.
It was as a result of more than 12 years of personal experience in the banking industry, including mortgage banking that the LeonardScott Short Sale program was developed: when Nelis partnered up with Henk Pretorius to setup a net branch in Seaside for Leonard Scott Real Estate Group, specializing in Short Sale listings and loan modification and restructuring programs.
